Spare parts: from stock availability to maintenance use

Knowing that a spare part exists in the catalog does not mean having it in the warehouse useful for the intervention. Availability and withdrawals must be read together to prepare the work and keep the stocks reliable.

Warehouses and availability

  1. Select the correct warehouse.
  2. Search for the spare part with code or description.
  3. Compare stock, availability and reservations if shown.
  4. Check that the available quantity is sufficient before withdrawing.

Maintenance withdrawals

  1. Identifies the order, delivery note or reference required.
  2. Select the spare part and the picking warehouse.
  3. Record the quantity actually taken.
  4. Check movement and connection to work.

Putting this into practice

Before opening a machine, check the necessary material and its location. It then records the withdrawal to the correct reference, so consumption remains linked to maintenance.
