A correction to text or a value must remain linked to the corrected document. The integrated editor allows targeted interventions on Word and PowerPoint texts and on values or texts of the Excel cells, followed by saving verification.
Edit the text of a document Word
- Open the Word document for editing and locate the affected paragraph or text fragment.
- Change the text in the editable fields, respecting the structure of the document.
- Re-read the modified parts and check that the meaning remains consistent with the rest of the file.
- Save the change and reopen the document to read the updated text.
Edit values and texts in Excel
- Open the Excel file in edit and recognize the sheet and cell reference.
- Updates only the editable values, distinguishing texts, numbers and logical values.
- Check the required format and do not transform an expected result into a formula not supported by the field.
- Save and reopen the sheet to verify that the value is associated with the correct cell.
Edit the lyrics of PowerPoint
- Open the presentation in editing and identify the affected slide.
- Locate the fragment of editable text you want to correct.
- Apply the change and reread the title and content of the slide as a whole.
- Save your change and reopen the presentation to check the updated text.
Putting this into practice
To correct an amount or a sentence, first locate the exact point and re-read the saved result. In the spreadsheet, a change to the values should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the formulas will be completely recalculated.
