Simulation and LIVE: Test your flow before posting to channels

Testing a plan without sending content helps verify the operational path. Simulation mode and LIVE mode have different effects and must be recognized before using Publish Now.

Simulation and LIVE mode

1. Open Channels and read the mode of each platform separately.
2. Use Simulation to exercise validations, schedulers and logs without sending the content to social media.
3. Before choosing LIVE, check your credentials, application permissions and recipient account.
4. Save the authorized configuration and re-read the mode on the Dashboard before programming new outputs.

Use Publish Now

1. Open content in the state that makes Publish Now available.
2. Check text, assets, recipient account and channel mode before activating the command.
3. Read the confirmation: in LIVE mode the operation actually sends the message to the platform.
4. Only confirm the authorized exit and consult the outcome in detail and in the Logs.

Putting this into practice

Before an outing, check the channel mode and selected content. In LIVE the operation follows the authorized connection to the platform; the simulation serves to test the flow.
