Good copy may still require a coherent image or video. The visual brief clarifies what to prepare, while the link to the media makes the content that will be submitted for approval verifiable.
Use the visual brief
- Open the content and read the Visual Brief box.
- Compare the brief with the theme, text and format required for the channel.
- Prepare the image or video consistent with these guidelines and available usage rights.
- Match the media to the content and use revision notes to point out any differences that need to be resolved.
Attach local images and videos
- Open the content and select the asset type consistent with the file.
- Use Upload Local File to choose the image or video intended for the message.
- Consider that the local file replaces the media URL; Check channel-specific requirements.
- Save and re-read the file path in the technical details before approval.
Putting this into practice
Before reviewing, compare the text, image or video, and destination. The media must be the definitive one for the content, with format and requirements suitable for the channel.
