An issued invoice and a recorded collection describe two different moments. In the Nexora management software, following both allows you to read the credit and check what remains to be collected.
Create and validate a customer invoice
- Open the customer and the commercial documents from which the invoicing derives.
- Create the draft invoice with the expected links and check lines, taxes, conditions and deadline.
- Re-read the document and use validation only after authorized control.
- Consult number, status and related documents; PDF generation alone does not demonstrate an external fiscal shipment.
Record receipts and follow deadlines
- Open the validated invoice and check the amount, deadline and payments already registered.
- Record the actual collection indicating the relevant date, method, amount and account.
- Compare the payment with the residual and keep partial collections recognizable.
- Re-read invoice status and balance: An accounting entry does not alone initiate a bank transfer.
Putting this into practice
When a payment arrives, link it to the correct invoice and check the amount and balance. The status of the document alone does not replace the control of the economic registration.
