Work on the document ends when the change has been saved and is found in the expected reference. The control is particularly useful when multiple people are working on the same content or switching between the Office Web editor and the archive.
Save, review and manage conflicts
- Before saving, double-check the document, folder, and prepared changes.
- Confirm the saving and wait for the message returned by the system.
- If the document has been modified by another session, reopen the editor on the updated version instead of blindly overwriting it.
- Reopen the file and consult the history to keep the versions and the result of the work recognizable.
Editor Office Web and return to the document
- Open a compatible Standard path document with the available Office Web editing command.
- Work in the document while maintaining the reference to the file opened by AirDoc.
- Save during the session and consider the validity time shown by the interface.
- After a suspension or an expired session, return to the document and reopen the editor; Compare the saved content before continuing.
Putting this into practice
After a correction, wait for the saving result and reopen the file from AirDoc. If there is a conflict, clarify which revision to keep before overwriting a colleague’s work.
